Tasks

• They assume overall responsibility for safe and efficient flight operations and act in
• accordance with Edelweiss’ procedures and operational philosophy.
• They ensure flight preparation and execution in accordance with legal regulations
• You lead and promote your crew and ensure a high standard of performance at all times
• They stand for high quality standards for our guests

Preconditions

• ATPL license (EASA Part FCL) with A340 Type Rating (valid at course start)
• Total flight experience: 5000h, including 1500h on Airbus Widebody Aircraft
• Minimum 1500h command experience in Commercial Air Transport (CAT) on Widebody
• Aircraft
• Experience in long-distance surgery

Furthermore:

• Medical Class 1 and vaccination readiness (incl. COVID19)
• Fully documented aviation track record*
• Very good language skills in German (at least level C1) and English (level B2 / ICAO level 4)
• Strong leadership and team skills, impeccable reputation, integrity, mature and loyal
• personality
• Swiss citizen of the EU-27/EFTA states
